West Virginia Defeats Lehigh 69-47 - Recap
The battle between West Virginia and Lehigh didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Lehigh was handed a 69-47 defeat on Sunday at Hope Coliseum.
Brenen Lorient had 26 points for West Virginia and Harlan Obioha chipped in with 12 points. Jasper Floyd had 4 assists for them, while Harlan Obioha was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
Lehigh got 16 points from Andrew Urosevic in a losing cause and another 14 points from Joshua Ingram. Hank Alvey contributed 3 assists for them, while Hank Alvey had 8 rebounds.
West Virginia was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
West Virginia won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-21.
Next game, West Virginia takes its act home to face Pittsburgh looking for another win. For Lehigh, they head on the road to face Rutgers.
