Laverne Falls 105-73 to UC San Diego - Recap
The battle between UC San Diego and Laverne didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Laverne was handed a 105-73 defeat on Monday at LionTree Arena.
UC San Diego got 24 points from Leo Beath and another 15 points from Tom Beattie. Aidan Burke contributed 4 assists, while Bol Dengdit cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Laverne got a 12-point performance from Jackson Gray, who was supported by 9 points from Kason White. Tristan Guzman had 4 assists in a losing cause for Laverne, while Ryan Lin grabbed 4 rebounds.
UC San Diego was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UC San Diego won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 47-23.
