Merrimack Defeats Boston University 91-79 - Recap
Ernest Shelton went off for 33 points and added 4 rebounds leading Merrimack to a 91-79 win over Boston University on Saturday at Case Gym.
Merrimack got 16 points from Kevair Kennedy and another 14 points from Andres Marrero. Kevair Kennedy contributed 8 assists, while Kevair Kennedy cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Boston University got 21 points from Michael McNair in a losing cause and another 17 points from Sam Hughes. Chance Gladden contributed 8 assists for them, while Ben Defty had 9 rebounds.
Merrimack was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Merrimack had a 32-24 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Merrimack takes its act home to face Maine looking for another win. For Boston University, they head on the road to face Columbia.
