The battle between Oklahoma and Arkansas-Pine Bluff didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Arkansas-Pine Bluff was handed a 95-69 defeat on Tuesday at McCasland Field House.
Oklahoma got 19 points from Xzayvier Brown and another 15 points from Nijel Pack. Tae Davis contributed 4 assists, while Tae Davis cleaned the glass with 15 rebounds.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff got a 15-point performance from Milhan Charles, who was supported by 14 points from Jaquan Scott. Quion Williams had 3 assists in a losing cause for Arkansas-Pine Bluff, while Quion Williams grabbed 12 rebounds.
Oklahoma was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Oklahoma won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-28.
