Recap - South Dakota State Defeats Peru State 94-46
The battle between South Dakota State and Peru State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Peru State was handed a 94-46 defeat on Monday at First Bank & Trust Arena.
South Dakota State got 24 points from Trey Buchanan and another 14 points from Damon Wilkinson. Bubz Alvarez contributed 5 assists, while Damon Wilkinson cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Peru State got 10 points from Ashton Lovette in a losing cause and another 9 points from Ty Griggs. Jamel Hollins contributed 3 assists for them, while Jamel Hollins had 6 rebounds.
South Dakota State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
