Alouettes Down Ottawa 29-3 - Match Report

The battle between the Alouettes and REDBLACKS didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Ottawa was handed a 29-3 defeat on Monday at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

The Alouettes were a -6.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 46.0.

Walter Fletcher rushed for 43 yards, while Jeshrun Antwi added 35 yards in the win. Tyson Philpot and Tyler Snead added 90 and 78 receiving yards respectively.

Devonte Williams rushed for 45 yards for Ottawa, while Ante Milanovic-Litre added 6 yards. Dustin Crum threw for 72 yards for the REDBLACKS, while receivers Siaosi Mariner and Jaelon Acklin had 46 and 35 yards respectively.

Ottawa lost the offensive yardage battle to Montreal 398-213 yards in Monday's game. Montreal had more first downs as that total ended up 23-11.

The time of possession battle favored Montreal as their offense was on the field for 37:38, longer than the 22:22 of their opponents.

Next game, Montreal takes its act on the road to face Edmonton looking for another win. For Ottawa, they head on the road to face Toronto.
