Stampeders Fall 39-25 Against Toronto - Game Recap

Toronto earned a 39-25 victory over Calgary on Friday in Week 10 action at BMO Field.

Bettors who backed the Argonauts were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -1.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 48.5.

Ka'Deem Carey rushed for 89 yards, while Deonta McMahon added 11 yards in the win. Makai Polk and DaVaris Daniels added 50 and 31 receiving yards respectively.

Peyton Logan rushed for 61 yards for Calgary, while Tommy Stevens added 10 yards. Jake Maier threw for 373 yards for the Stampeders, while receivers Reggie Begelton and Clark Barnes had 104 and 74 yards respectively.

Toronto lost the offensive yardage battle to Calgary 452-299 yards in Friday's game. Calgary had more first downs as that total ended up 24-16.

The time of possession battle favored Calgary as their offense was on the field for 34:07, longer than the 25:53 of their opponents.

Next game, Toronto takes its act home to face Saskatchewan looking for another win. For Calgary, they head home to face Ottawa.
