Winnipeg Blue Bombers vs Calgary Stampeders Wrap - Calgary Wins 37-16

Calgary cruised to victory on Thursday, as they ran up a 37-16 score against Winnipeg in Week 5 action at McMahon Stadium.

The Stampeders were a +5.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 52.5.

Dedrick Mills rushed for 93 yards, while Quincy Vaughn added 9 yards in the win. Jalen Philpot and Tevin Jones added 75 and 49 receiving yards respectively.

Brady Oliveira rushed for 61 yards for Winnipeg, while Zach Collaros added 18 yards. Zach Collaros threw for 288 yards for the Blue Bombers, while receivers Kevens Clercius and Nic Demski had 78 and 74 yards respectively.

Calgary lost the offensive yardage battle to Winnipeg 408-336 yards in Thursday's game. Winnipeg had more first downs as that total ended up 29-16.

The time of possession battle favored Winnipeg as their offense was on the field for 32:10, longer than the 27:50 of their opponents.

Next game, Calgary takes its act on the road to face Saskatchewan looking for another win. For Winnipeg, they head home to face Calgary.
