Recap - Lions Defeat Montreal 21-20

Nathan Rourke led the way with 352 passing yards on Saturday as the Lions picked up a 21-20 victory over the Alouettes at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

British Columbia won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 52.5.

Nathan Rourke completed 22 of 36 pass attempts for 352 yards and 1 TDs for the Lions in the win.

Sean Thomas Erlington rushed for 76 yards for Montreal, while Travis Theis added 21 yards. McLeod Bethel-Thompson threw for 192 yards for the Alouettes, while receivers Tyson Philpot and Cole Spieker had 57 and 54 yards respectively.

Montreal was outgained by British Columbia 440-326 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 26-23 by the Lions.

Montreal lost the time of possession battle 30:51-29:09, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

British Columbia looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Elks. The Alouettes will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Toronto.
