Ottawa Defeats Calgary 31-11 - Recap

Ottawa won 31-11 on Thursday against Calgary behind a 110-yard receiving performance from Eugene Lewis at TD Place Stadium.

The REDBLACKS were a -3.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 49.0.

William Stanback rushed for 52 yards, while Dru Brown added 16 yards in the win. Eugene Lewis and Justin Hardy added 110 and 62 receiving yards respectively.

PJ Walker rushed for 12 yards for Calgary, while Dedrick Mills added 11 yards. PJ Walker threw for 273 yards for the Stampeders, while receivers Dominique Rhymes and Erik Brooks had 103 and 69 yards respectively.

Calgary lost the offensive yardage battle to Ottawa 311-308 yards in Thursday's game. Ottawa had more first downs as that total ended up 17-16.

Calgary lost the time of possession battle 30:03-29:57, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Ottawa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Argonauts. The Stampeders will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Winnipeg.
