Montreal Falls 23-22 to Elks - Recap

The Elks got a 2-TD performance from Cody Fajardo as Edmonton handed Montreal a 23-22 defeat on Friday at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

Cody Fajardo completed 27 of 38 pass attempts for 289 yards and 2 TDs for the Elks in the win.

Sean Thomas Erlington rushed for 33 yards for Montreal, while Travis Theis added 29 yards. Caleb Evans threw for 113 yards for the Alouettes, while receivers Charleston Rambo and Cole Spieker had 51 and 50 yards respectively.

Edmonton lost the time of possession battle 31:28-28:32, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Edmonton looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Argonauts. The Alouettes will aim to get back on the winning track at British Columbia.
