Ole Miss Defeats Liberty 27-14 - Recap

Ole Miss's aerial attack produced 324 yards and the Rebels produced a 27-14 victory over Liberty on Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field.

Ole Miss won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -7.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 67.0.

Matt Corral completed 20 of 27 pass attempts for 324 yards for the Rebels in the win.

Shedro Louis rushed for 101 yards for Liberty, while Joshua Mack added 98 yards. Johnathan Bennett threw for 0 yards for the Flames, while receivers Demario Douglas and Kevin Shaa had 56 and 30 yards respectively.

Liberty lost the offensive yardage battle to Ole Miss 466-457 yards in Saturday's game. Liberty had more first downs as that total ended up 30-20.

Liberty led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 39:35-20:25 split in that important category.

Next game, Ole Miss takes its act home to face Texas A&M looking for another win. For Liberty, they head home to face Louisiana-Lafayette.
