Recap - Mustangs Defeat North Texas 45-21
Jaylan Knighton ran for 129 yards as SMU handled North Texas by a score of 45-21 on Friday at Gerald J. Ford Stadium.

North Texas lost the offensive yardage battle to SMU 552-372 yards in Friday's game. SMU had more first downs as that total ended up 28-18.
SMU led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:26-26:34 split in that important category.
Next game, SMU takes its act on the road to face Memphis looking for another win. For North Texas, they head on the road to face Tulsa.
