Recap - Blue Raiders Defeat FIU 40-6

Middle Tennessee cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 40-6 score against FIU in Week 11 action at Johnny (Red) Floyd Stadium.

Middle Tennessee was the ATS victor, as they covered the -10.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 52.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

DJ Riles rushed for 58 yards, while Nicholas Vattiato added 39 yards in the win. DJ England-Chisolm and Holden Willis added 76 and 75 receiving yards respectively.

Shomari Lawrence rushed for 31 yards for FIU, while Kejon Owens added 20 yards. Keyone Jenkins threw for 226 yards for the Panthers, while receivers Eric Rivers and Rocky Beers had 58 and 43 yards respectively.

FIU lost the offensive yardage battle to Middle Tennessee 427-277 yards in Saturday's game. Middle Tennessee had more first downs as that total ended up 19-17.

FIU led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:31-29:29 split in that important category.

Next game, Middle Tennessee takes its act home to face UTEP looking for another win. For FIU, they head on the road to face Arkansas.
