Recap - Hawkeyes Defeat Northwestern 40-14

Kaleb Johnson tore up the turf for 109 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Hawkeyes to a 40-14 win over the Wildcats at Kinnick Stadium.

Kaleb Johnson rushed for 109 yards, while Brendan Sullivan added 41 yards in the win. Seth Anderson and Johnny Pascuzzi added 44 and 40 receiving yards respectively.

Cam Porter rushed for 50 yards for Northwestern, while Joseph Himon II added 7 yards. Ryan Hilinski threw for 58 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers A.J. Henning and Thomas Gordon had 22 and 21 yards respectively.

Iowa outgained Northwestern 355-163 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 14-11 by the Hawkeyes.

Northwestern lost the time of possession battle 34:44-25:36, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Iowa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Wisconsin. Northwestern will aim to get back on the winning track at Purdue.
