Nevada Wolf Pack vs Penn State Nittany Lions Recap - Nittany Lions Win 46-11
The battle between the Nittany Lions and Wolf Pack didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Nevada was handed a 46-11 defeat on Saturday at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium.
The Nittany Lions won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -42.5-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.
Kaytron Allen rushed for 43 yards, while Drew Allar added 20 yards in the win. Kyron Hudson and Trebor Pena added 89 and 74 receiving yards respectively.
Chubba Purdy rushed for 55 yards for Nevada, while AJ Bianco added 12 yards. AJ Bianco threw for 28 yards for the Wolf Pack, while receivers Marcus Bellon and Jordan Brown had 76 and 32 yards respectively.
Penn State outgained Nevada 438-203 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-13 by the Nittany Lions.
The time of possession battle favored Penn State as their offense was on the field for 33:40, longer than the 26:20 of their opponents.
