Roadrunners Fall 42-24 Against Texas A&M - Game Recap
UTSA was unable to slow down Mario Craver, who produced 122 receiving yards as the Aggies defeated the Roadrunners 42-24 on Saturday.
Texas A&M did not, however, defeat the Roadrunners against the spread, which closed at -23.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 59.5.
Marcel Reed rushed for 39 yards, while Rueben Owens added 37 yards in the win. Mario Craver and KC Concepcion added 122 and 72 receiving yards respectively.
Robert Henry Jr. rushed for 177 yards for UTSA, while A'Marion Peterson added 26 yards. Brandon Tennison threw for 49 yards for the Roadrunners, while receivers David Amador II and AJ Wilson had 41 and 34 yards respectively.
Texas A&M lost the time of possession battle 33:41-26:19, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Texas A&M takes its act home to face Utah State looking for another win. For UTSA, they head home to face Texas State.
