Eastern Michigan Eagles vs Texas State Bobcats Wrap - Texas State Wins 52-27

Lincoln Pare tore up the turf for 167 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Bobcats to a 52-27 win over the Eagles at UFCU Stadium.

Texas State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -13.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 56.5.

Lincoln Pare rushed for 167 yards, while Greg Burrell added 79 yards in the win. Beau Sparks and Chris Dawn Jr. added 82 and 50 receiving yards respectively.

Dontae McMillan rushed for 78 yards for Eastern Michigan, while Joey Mattord added 38 yards. Noah Kim threw for 248 yards for the Eagles, while receivers Terry Lockett Jr. and Tanner Lemaster had 62 and 42 yards respectively.

Texas State outgained Eastern Michigan 606-391 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 30-23 by the Bobcats.

Eastern Michigan lost the time of possession battle 30:58-29:02, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Texas State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against UTSA. Eastern Michigan will aim to get back on the winning track vs. LIU.
