Hawaii Falls 40-6 to Wildcats - Recap
The Rainbow Warriors had no answer for Quincy Craig on Saturday as the Wildcats rolled to a 40-6 win at Arizona Stadium.
The Wildcats were a -15.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 55.5.
Quincy Craig rushed for 125 yards, while Kedrick Reescano added 51 yards in the win. Brandon Phelps and Javin Whatley added 50 and 38 receiving yards respectively.
Landon Sims rushed for 41 yards for Hawaii, while Luke Weaver added 17 yards. Micah Alejado threw for 157 yards for the Rainbow Warriors, while receivers Landon Sims and Tama Uiliata had 48 and 37 yards respectively.
Hawaii was outgained by Arizona 344-290 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-16 by the Rainbow Warriors.
The time of possession battle favored Hawaii as their offense was on the field for 35:44, longer than the 24:16 of their opponents.
Next game, Arizona takes its act home to face Weber State looking for another win. For Hawaii, they head home to face Sam Houston State.
