Trojans Fall 27-16 Against Clemson - Game Recap
Adam Randall scampered through the Troy defense for 112 yards as Clemson handed the Trojans a 27-16 defeat on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
The Tigers won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -31.0-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.
Adam Randall rushed for 112 yards, while Gideon Davidson added 5 yards in the win. Bryant Wesco Jr. and Tyler Brown added 118 and 45 receiving yards respectively.
Tae Meadows rushed for 76 yards for Troy, while Goose Crowder added 10 yards. Goose Crowder threw for 223 yards for the Trojans, while receivers Tray Taylor and Ethan Conner had 69 and 53 yards respectively.
Troy lost the offensive yardage battle to Clemson 316-301 yards in Saturday's game. Clemson had more first downs as that total ended up 17-16.
Clemson lost the time of possession battle 33:01-26:59, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Clemson heads into a Week 3 battle against Georgia Tech. Troy, meanwhile, will have their next action against Memphis.
