Bears Down Marshall 21-20 - Match Report

Jacob Clark sliced and diced the Thundering Herd defense for 359 yards as Missouri State handed Marshall a 21-20 defeat on Saturday at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

Missouri State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +7.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 53.5.

Jacob Clark completed 21 of 31 pass attempts for 359 yards for the Bears in the win.

Jo'Shon Barbie rushed for 67 yards for Marshall, while Justin Williams-Thomas added 61 yards. Zion Turner threw for 83 yards for the Thundering Herd, while receivers Toby Payne and Ben Turner had 43 and 17 yards respectively.
