Ball State Falls 42-3 to Tigers - Recap

The Cardinals had no answer for Jeremiah Cobb on Saturday as the Tigers rolled to a 42-3 win at Pat Dye Field at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The Tigers won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -42.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Jeremiah Cobb rushed for 121 yards, while Durell Robinson added 54 yards in the win. Cam Coleman and Eric Singleton Jr. added 77 and 64 receiving yards respectively.

Qua Ashley rushed for 10 yards for Ball State, while Elijah Jackson added 8 yards. Kiael Kelly threw for 71 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Eric Weatherly and Ty Robinson had 42 and 16 yards respectively.

Auburn outgained Ball State 495-68 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 27-6 by the Tigers.

Ball State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:15-29:45 split in that important category.

Auburn heads into a Week 3 battle against South Alabama. Ball State, meanwhile, will have their next action against New Hampshire.
