USC Trojans vs Purdue Boilermakers Recap - Trojans Win 33-17

Ja'Kobi Lane caught 3 passes for 115 yards against the Purdue defense as USC handed the Boilermakers a 33-17 loss on Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium.

The Trojans won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -20.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Waymond Jordan rushed for 77 yards, while Eli Sanders added 75 yards in the win. Ja'Kobi Lane and Lake McRee added 115 and 67 receiving yards respectively.

Devin Mockobee rushed for 45 yards for Purdue, while Malachi Thomas added 5 yards. Ryan Browne threw for 305 yards for the Boilermakers, while receivers Michael Jackson III and EJ Horton Jr. had 70 and 70 yards respectively.

USC outgained Purdue 460-357 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 23-22 by the Boilermakers.

Purdue lost the time of possession battle 34:07-25:53, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, USC takes its act home to face Michigan State looking for another win. For Purdue, they head on the road to face Notre Dame.
