North Texas Defeats Army 45-38 - Recap
North Texas got a 101-yard performance from Makenzie McGill II as a key part of its 45-38 victory over the Black Knights on Saturday at Blaik Field at Michie Stadium.
North Texas was the ATS victor, as they covered the -2.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 50.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
Makenzie McGill II rushed for 101 yards, while Caleb Hawkins added 99 yards in the win. Miles Coleman and Landon Sides added 74 and 68 receiving yards respectively.
Dewayne Coleman rushed for 117 yards for Army, while Hayden Reed added 113 yards. Dewayne Coleman threw for 101 yards for the Black Knights, while receivers Brady Anderson and Samari Howard had 68 and 21 yards respectively.
Army led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:01-27:59 split in that important category.
North Texas looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against South Alabama. Army will aim to get back on the winning track at East Carolina.
