Recap - Cardinal Defeat San Jose State 30-29
Ben Gulbranson was good for 444 yards through the air on Saturday as the Cardinal got past the Spartans by a score of 30-29 at Stanford Stadium.
Stanford did not, however, defeat the Spartans against the spread, which closed at -3.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 49.5.

Walker Eget rushed for 19 yards for San Jose State, while Jabari Bates added 17 yards. Walker Eget threw for 473 yards for the Spartans, while receivers Kyri Shoels and Danny Scudero had 147 and 135 yards respectively.
San Jose State outgained Stanford 524-481 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 27-23 by the Spartans.
San Jose State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:53-29:07 split in that important category.
Stanford looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against SMU. San Jose State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. New Mexico.
