Massachusetts Falls 42-6 to Tigers - Recap
Ahmad Hardy tore up the turf for 130 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Tigers to a 42-6 win over the Minutemen at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field.
Missouri did not, however, defeat the Minutemen against the spread, which closed at -44.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 57.0.
Ahmad Hardy rushed for 130 yards, while Marquise Davis added 77 yards in the win. Kevin Coleman Jr. and Brett Norfleet added 108 and 52 receiving yards respectively.
Rocko Griffin rushed for 23 yards for Massachusetts, while Brandon Hood added 6 yards. AJ Hairston threw for 75 yards for the Minutemen, while receivers Jacquon Gibson and Donnie Gray had 30 and 28 yards respectively.
Massachusetts lost the offensive yardage battle to Missouri 521-124 yards in Saturday's game. Missouri had more first downs as that total ended up 31-9.
Missouri led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 38:43-21:17 split in that important category.
Next game, Missouri takes its act home to face Alabama looking for another win. For Massachusetts, they head home to face Western Michigan.
