Vanderbilt outgained Utah State 543-393 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 31-21 by the Commodores.
Utah State lost the time of possession battle 33:17-26:43, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Vanderbilt looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Alabama. Utah State will aim to get back on the winning track at Hawaii.
