Northwestern Defeats Louisiana-Monroe 42-7 - Recap
The battle between the Wildcats and Warhawks didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Louisiana-Monroe was handed a 42-7 defeat on Saturday at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium.

Dashun Reeder rushed for 79 yards, while Caleb Komolafe added 75 yards in the win. Hayden Eligon II and Griffin Wilde added 80 and 64 receiving yards respectively.

Louisiana-Monroe was outgained by Northwestern 515-273 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 26-18 by the Wildcats.
The time of possession battle favored Northwestern as their offense was on the field for 35:42, longer than the 24:18 of their opponents.
Northwestern looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Penn State. Louisiana-Monroe will aim to get back on the winning track at Coastal Carolina.
