Virginia Tech Falls 30-23 to Demon Deacons - Recap
The Demon Deacons were Week 6 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Hokies by a score of 30-23 at Lane Stadium/Worsham Field.

Demond Claiborne rushed for 29 yards, while Robby Ashford added 22 yards in the win. Sawyer Racanelli and Carlos Hernandez added 88 and 51 receiving yards respectively.
Terion Stewart rushed for 62 yards for Virginia Tech, while Marcellous Hawkins added 48 yards. Kyron Drones threw for 111 yards for the Hokies, while receivers Donavon Greene and Takye Heath had 52 and 23 yards respectively.
Virginia Tech lost the offensive yardage battle to Wake Forest 347-263 yards in Saturday's game. Wake Forest had more first downs as that total ended up 19-16.
Wake Forest led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:40-27:20 split in that important category.
Wake Forest heads into a 7 battle against Oregon State. Virginia Tech, meanwhile, will have their next action against Georgia Tech.
