Recap - Cornhuskers Defeat Michigan State 38-27

The Cornhuskers were Week 6 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Spartans by a score of 38-27 at Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium.

The Cornhuskers earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -13.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 48.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Emmett Johnson rushed for 83 yards, while Mekhi Nelson added 11 yards in the win. Nyziah Hunter and Jacory Barney Jr. added 93 and 47 receiving yards respectively.

Makhi Frazier rushed for 58 yards for Michigan State, while Aidan Chiles added 23 yards. Alessio Milivojevic threw for 71 yards for the Spartans, while receivers Nick Marsh and Jack Velling had 41 and 37 yards respectively.

Michigan State lost the offensive yardage battle to Nebraska 261-240 yards in Saturday's game. Michigan State had more first downs as that total ended up 17-15.

Nebraska lost the time of possession battle 33:24-26:36, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Nebraska takes its act on the road to face Maryland looking for another win. For Michigan State, they head home to face UCLA.
