Jacksonville State Defeats Sam Houston State 29-27 - Recap
Jacksonville State got a 218-yard performance from Cam Cook as a key part of its 29-27 victory over the Bearkats on Thursday at Shell Energy Stadium.

Jacksonville State outgained Sam Houston State 499-286 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-15 by the Gamecocks.
Sam Houston State lost the time of possession battle 35:13-24:47, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
