UNLV Defeats Air Force 51-48 - Recap
Anthony Colandrea threw for 361 yards to lead the Rebels over Air Force 51-48 on Saturday in Week 7 action at Allegiant Stadium.
The Rebels earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -7.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 65.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Jaden Bradley completed 1 of 1 pass attempts for 16 yards for the Rebels in the win.
Owen Allen rushed for 192 yards for Air Force, while Liam Szarka added 136 yards. Liam Szarka threw for 175 yards for the Falcons, while receivers Jonah Dawson and Cade Harris had 79 and 46 yards respectively.
UNLV was outgained by Air Force 603-597 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 32-24 by the Falcons.
UNLV lost the time of possession battle 36:51-23:09, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, UNLV takes its act on the road to face Boise State looking for another win. For Air Force, they head home to face Wyoming.
