Sooners Fall 23-6 Against Texas - Game Recap

The Longhorns were Week 7 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Sooners by a score of 23-6 at Cotton Bowl.

The Longhorns were a -2.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 44.5.

Quintrevion Wisner rushed for 94 yards, while Arch Manning added 34 yards in the win. DeAndre Moore Jr. and Ryan Wingo added 50 and 35 receiving yards respectively.

Tory Blaylock rushed for 33 yards for Oklahoma, while Xavier Robinson added 7 yards. Javonnie Gibson threw for 8 yards for the Sooners, while receivers Deion Burks and Isaiah Sategna had 64 and 61 yards respectively.

Texas outgained Oklahoma 302-258 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 16-15 by the Sooners.

Texas led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:58-29:02 split in that important category.

Next game, Texas takes its act on the road to face Kentucky looking for another win. For Oklahoma, they head on the road to face South Carolina.
