Memphis Falls 31-24 to Blazers - Recap

Solomon Beebe tore up the turf for 106 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Blazers to a 31-24 win over the Tigers at Protective Stadium.

The Blazers were a +24.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 59.5.

Solomon Beebe rushed for 106 yards, while Jevon Jackson added 54 yards in the win. Iverson Hooks and Brandon Hawkins Jr. added 172 and 39 receiving yards respectively.

Greg Desrosiers Jr. rushed for 74 yards for Memphis, while Sutton Smith added 26 yards. AJ Hill threw for 175 yards for the Tigers, while receivers Cortez Braham Jr. and Christian Ross had 83 and 47 yards respectively.

UAB outgained Memphis 470-362 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-20 by the Blazers.

UAB led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:05-24:55 split in that important category.

UAB looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against UCONN. Memphis will aim to get back on the winning track vs. USF.
