TCU Defeats Baylor 42-36 - Recap

Kevorian Barnes scampered through the Baylor defense for 106 yards as TCU handed the Bears a 42-36 defeat on Saturday at Amon G. Carter Stadium.

The Horned Frogs were a -3.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 66.5.

Kevorian Barnes rushed for 106 yards, while Trent Battle added 75 yards in the win. Jordan Dwyer and Eric McAlister added 111 and 62 receiving yards respectively.

Michael Turner rushed for 68 yards for Baylor, while Caden Knighten added 42 yards. Sawyer Robertson threw for 318 yards for the Bears, while receivers Ashtyn Hawkins and Josh Cameron had 95 and 86 yards respectively.

TCU was outgained by Baylor 439-427 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-21 by the Bears.

TCU lost the time of possession battle 31:45-28:15, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

TCU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against West Virginia. Baylor will aim to get back on the winning track at Cincinnati.
