Maryland Terrapins vs UCLA Bruins Wrap - UCLA Wins 20-17
UCLA won 20-17 on Saturday against Maryland behind a 102-yard receiving performance from Titus Mokiao-Atimalala at Rose Bowl.
The Bruins won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -4.0-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.
Anthony Frias II rushed for 97 yards, while Jalen Berger added 65 yards in the win. Titus Mokiao-Atimalala and Kwazi Gilmer added 102 and 56 receiving yards respectively.
Malik Washington rushed for 67 yards for Maryland, while DeJuan Williams added 47 yards. Malik Washington threw for 210 yards for the Terrapins, while receivers DeJuan Williams and Shaleak Knotts had 86 and 54 yards respectively.
Maryland lost the offensive yardage battle to UCLA 414-337 yards in Saturday's game. UCLA had more first downs as that total ended up 21-17.
UCLA led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:00-27:00 split in that important category.
UCLA looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Indiana. Maryland will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Indiana.
