Bears Fall 41-20 Against Cincinnati - Game Recap
Cincinnati cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 41-20 score against Baylor in Week 9 action at Nippert Stadium.
The Bearcats were a -3.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 68.5.
Brendan Sorsby rushed for 85 yards, while Tawee Walker added 84 yards in the win. Cyrus Allen and Noah Jennings added 36 and 23 receiving yards respectively.
Michael Turner rushed for 90 yards for Baylor, while Bryson Washington added 23 yards. Sawyer Robertson threw for 137 yards for the Bears, while receivers Josh Cameron and Michael Trigg had 34 and 30 yards respectively.
Baylor lost the offensive yardage battle to Cincinnati 376-266 yards in Saturday's game. Cincinnati had more first downs as that total ended up 26-17.
The time of possession battle favored Cincinnati as their offense was on the field for 35:06, longer than the 24:54 of their opponents.
Next game, Cincinnati takes its act on the road to face Utah looking for another win. For Baylor, they head home to face UCF.
