Recap - Cornhuskers Defeat Northwestern 28-21

The Wildcats had no answer for Emmett Johnson on Saturday as the Cornhuskers rolled to a 28-21 win at Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium.

The match was decisive in favor of Nebraska, but bettors saw the game push as the margin of victory was the same as the closing point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 44.5.

Emmett Johnson rushed for 124 yards, while Isaiah Mozee added 28 yards in the win. Nyziah Hunter and Dane Key added 70 and 22 receiving yards respectively.

Caleb Komolafe rushed for 125 yards for Northwestern, while Joseph Himon II added 37 yards. Preston Stone threw for 159 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Griffin Wilde and Hayden Eligon II had 54 and 48 yards respectively.

Nebraska heads into a Week 10 battle against USC. Northwestern, meanwhile, will have their next action against USC.
