Wyoming Defeats Colorado State 28-0 - Recap

WyomingÆs defense kept Colorado State out of the end zone in a 28-0 win at Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

Sam Scott rushed for 68 yards, while Terron Kellman added 35 yards in the win. Chris Durr Jr. and Jaylen Sargent added 67 and 34 receiving yards respectively.

Justin Marshall rushed for 33 yards for Colorado State, while Jalen Dupree added 23 yards. Darius Curry threw for 112 yards for the Rams, while receivers Tay Lanier and Tommy Maher had 56 and 52 yards respectively.

Colorado State was outgained by Wyoming 372-305 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 18-15 by the Cowboys.

Wyoming led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:49-28:11 split in that important category.

Wyoming looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against San Diego State. Colorado State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. UNLV.
