Roadrunners vs Green Wave Final: 48-26 - Recap
Owen McCown was good for 370 yards through the air on Thursday as the Roadrunners got past the Green Wave by a score of 48-26 at Alamodome.
Bettors who backed the Roadrunners were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as an underdog of +6.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 53.5.
Owen McCown completed 31 of 33 pass attempts for 370 yards for the Roadrunners in the win.
Jake Retzlaff rushed for 63 yards for Tulane, while Brendan Sullivan added 27 yards. Jimmy Calloway threw for 42 yards for the Green Wave, while receivers Omari Hayes and Anthony Brown-Stephens had 69 and 58 yards respectively.
Tulane lost the offensive yardage battle to UTSA 523-434 yards in Thursday's game. UTSA had more first downs as that total ended up 28-24.
UTSA led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:55-23:05 split in that important category.
UTSA looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against USF. Tulane will aim to get back on the winning track at Memphis.
