South Carolina Falls 30-14 to Rebels - Recap

Kewan Lacy ran for 167 yards as Ole Miss handled South Carolina by a score of 30-14 on Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field.

The Rebels were a -13.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 55.5.

Kewan Lacy rushed for 167 yards, while Trinidad Chambliss added 59 yards in the win. Deuce Alexander and Dae'Quan Wright added 52 and 32 receiving yards respectively.

Rahsul Faison rushed for 52 yards for South Carolina, while Matt Fuller added 11 yards. LaNorris Sellers threw for 180 yards for the Gamecocks, while receivers Nyck Harbor and Brian Rowe Jr. had 69 and 45 yards respectively.

South Carolina lost the offensive yardage battle to Ole Miss 417-230 yards in Saturday's game. Ole Miss had more first downs as that total ended up 19-15.

The time of possession battle favored Ole Miss as their offense was on the field for 30:46, longer than the 29:14 of their opponents.

Ole Miss heads into a Week 11 battle against The Citadel. South Carolina, meanwhile, will have their next action against Texas A&M.
