Recap - Panthers Defeat Stanford 35-20

Mason Heintschel's 304-yard performance through the air was the key in Pittsburgh's 35-20 win over Stanford on Saturday at Stanford Stadium.

Pittsburgh was the ATS victor, as they covered the -13.0-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 51.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Mason Heintschel completed 23 of 38 pass attempts for 304 yards for the Panthers in the win.

Sedrick Irvin rushed for 24 yards for Stanford, while Champ Hampton added 9 yards. Ben Gulbranson threw for 228 yards for the Cardinal, while receivers C.J. Williams and Sam Roush had 122 and 104 yards respectively.

Stanford lost the offensive yardage battle to Pittsburgh 466-326 yards in Saturday's game. Pittsburgh had more first downs as that total ended up 25-18.

Stanford lost the time of possession battle 30:30-29:30, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Pittsburgh heads into a 12 battle against Notre Dame. Stanford, meanwhile, will have their next action against North Carolina.
