Minnesota Defeats Michigan State 23-20 - Recap

Fame Ijeboi scampered through the Michigan State defense for 108 yards as Minnesota handed the Spartans a 23-20 defeat on Saturday at Huntington Bank Stadium.

Fame Ijeboi rushed for 108 yards, while Cam Davis added 1 yards in the win. Javon Tracy and Le'Meke Brockington added 61 and 46 receiving yards respectively.

Elijah Tau-Tolliver rushed for 127 yards for Michigan State, while Brandon Tullis added 51 yards. Alessio Milivojevic threw for 311 yards for the Spartans, while receivers Rodney Bullard Jr. and Omari Kelly had 102 and 94 yards respectively.

Minnesota was outgained by Michigan State 467-301 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 19-18 by the Spartans.

Minnesota lost the time of possession battle 34:34-25:26, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
