RedHawks Fall 24-20 Against Ohio - Game Recap
Sieh Bangura tore up the turf for 102 rushing yards on Tuesday to lead the Bobcats to a 24-20 win over the RedHawks at Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium.
The Bobcats were a -2.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 50.5.
Sieh Bangura rushed for 102 yards, while Parker Navarro added 32 yards in the win. Rodney Harris II and Chase Hendricks added 92 and 40 receiving yards respectively.
Jordan Brunson rushed for 49 yards for Miami-OH, while D'Shawntae Jones added 46 yards. Dequan Finn threw for 194 yards for the RedHawks, while receivers Cole Weaver and Kam Perry had 94 and 45 yards respectively.
Miami-OH lost the offensive yardage battle to Ohio 338-303 yards in Tuesday's game. Ohio had more first downs as that total ended up 19-16.
Ohio lost the time of possession battle 32:50-27:10, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Ohio heads into a Week 12 battle against Western Michigan. Miami-OH, meanwhile, will have their next action against Toledo.
