Flames Fall 21-17 Against Missouri State - Game Recap

The Flames came up short against the Bears in Week 11 action on Saturday, falling 21-17 at Williams Stadium.

The Bears were a +7.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 51.5.

Shomari Lawrence rushed for 48 yards, while Ramone Green Jr. added 15 yards in the win. Tristian Gardner and Jmariyae Robinson added 80 and 69 receiving yards respectively.

Evan Dickens rushed for 127 yards for Liberty, while Jaylon Coleman added 40 yards. Ethan Vasko threw for 196 yards for the Flames, while receivers Reese Smith and Donte Lee Jr. had 62 and 57 yards respectively.

Missouri State lost the offensive yardage battle to Liberty 398-332 yards in Saturday's game. Liberty had more first downs as that total ended up 21-20.

Missouri State lost the time of possession battle 33:25-26:35, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Missouri State takes its act home to face UTEP looking for another win. For Liberty, they head on the road to face FIU.
