Tulane Defeats Florida Atlantic 35-24 - Recap

The Owls came up short against the Green Wave in Week 12 action on Saturday, falling 35-24 at Benson Field at Yulman Stadium.

Tulane won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -17.0-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 61.0.

Jamauri McClure rushed for 94 yards, while Anthony Brown-Stephens added 15 yards in the win. Bryce Bohanon and Johnny Pascuzzi added 56 and 52 receiving yards respectively.

Kaden Shields-Dutton rushed for 54 yards for Florida Atlantic, while Gemari Sands added 50 yards. Caden Veltkamp threw for 375 yards for the Owls, while receivers Easton Messer and Dominique Henry had 133 and 78 yards respectively.

Tulane lost the offensive yardage battle to Florida Atlantic 472-403 yards in Saturday's game. Florida Atlantic had more first downs as that total ended up 32-21.

Tulane lost the time of possession battle 30:20-29:40, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Tulane heads into a Week 13 battle against Temple. Florida Atlantic, meanwhile, will have their next action against UCONN.
