Recap - Huskies Defeat Purdue 49-13
The Boilermakers had no answer for Jordan Washington on Saturday as the Huskies rolled to a 49-13 win at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium.
Washington won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -14.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 50.0.
Jordan Washington rushed for 108 yards, while Adam Mohammed added 59 yards in the win. Decker DeGraaf and Audric Harris added 91 and 90 receiving yards respectively.
EJ Horton Jr. rushed for 31 yards for Purdue, while Antonio Harris added 23 yards. Malachi Singleton threw for 150 yards for the Boilermakers, while receivers Nitro Tuggle and EJ Horton Jr. had 57 and 34 yards respectively.
Washington outgained Purdue 506-267 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-14 by the Huskies.
Purdue lost the time of possession battle 31:08-28:52, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Washington takes its act on the road to face UCLA looking for another win. For Purdue, they head home to face Indiana.
