Recap - Tigers Defeat WKU 13-10
LSU earned a 13-10 victory over WKU on Saturday in Week 13 action at Tiger Stadium.
LSU did not, however, defeat the Hilltoppers against the spread, which closed at -24.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 52.0.
Harlem Berry rushed for 80 yards, while Ju'Juan Johnson added 20 yards in the win. Zavion Thomas and Trey'Dez Green added 47 and 45 receiving yards respectively.
Marvis Parrish rushed for 32 yards for WKU, while La'Vell Wright added 17 yards. Rodney Tisdale Jr. threw for 128 yards for the Hilltoppers, while receivers K.D. Hutchinson and Jairus Mack had 40 and 20 yards respectively.
WKU was outgained by LSU 328-152 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 20-14 by the Tigers.
The time of possession battle favored LSU as their offense was on the field for 35:54, longer than the 24:06 of their opponents.
Next game, LSU takes its act on the road to face Oklahoma looking for another win. For WKU, they head on the road to face Jacksonville State.
