California Falls 31-10 to Cardinal - Recap

Micah Ford scampered through the California defense for 150 yards as Stanford handed the Golden Bears a 31-10 defeat on Saturday at Stanford Stadium.

Stanford won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +5.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 48.5.

Micah Ford rushed for 150 yards, while Bryce Farrell added 6 yards in the win. C.J. Williams and Benji Blackburn added 76 and 26 receiving yards respectively.

Kendrick Raphael rushed for 47 yards for California, while Jacob De Jesus added -6 yards. Mason Mini threw for 16 yards for the Golden Bears, while receivers Trond Grizzell and Jacob De Jesus had 104 and 96 yards respectively.

California outgained Stanford 297-282 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 17-15 by the Cardinal.

California led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:42-26:20 split in that important category.

Next game, Stanford takes its act home to face Notre Dame looking for another win. For California, they head home to face SMU.
