Detroit Falls 26-7 to Texans - Recap

The Texans were Pre-Season Week 3 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Lions by a score of 26-7 at Ford Field.

Jawhar Jordan rushed for 55 yards, while British Brooks added 23 yards in the win. Cornell Powell and Quintez Cephus added 63 and 51 receiving yards respectively.

Jacob Saylors rushed for 32 yards for Detroit, while Hendon Hooker added 25 yards. Kyle Allen threw for 66 yards for the Lions, while receivers Isaac TeSlaa and Jacob Saylors had 41 and 27 yards respectively.

Houston outgained Detroit 399-186 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 28-9 by the Texans.

Detroit lost the time of possession battle 40:15-19:45, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Houston looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Rams. The Lions will aim to get back on the winning track at Green Bay.
